This picture came out of nowhere.
Or more specifically, Neverland. (joke alert! 8D)

I recently saw the Disney version, and it got me in the mood to read the book.

So I did.

And then I heard that there was a sanctioned sequel ("Peter Pan in Scarlet" VERY good) to the original Peter Pan book by J.M. Barrie, so of course I had to read that too.

One thing led to another, and I started drawing again!
Just like that.

So enjoy.

Also...(criticism) is...*gulp* encouraged. *oh the terror!*

Wow.....this is great. I like it a lot.

Sure, it's Disney, but this picture means a lot. Wendy grew up. ^_^

And I love Peter Pan, the book more than the movie.

They are looking up at the second star to the right, aren't they?

Your backgrounds are terrific! (So are the people, I'm just especially liking the house and tree and such.) :)

';Peter Pan in Scarlet' may be official, but it also has MANY mistakes in it from J.M. Barrie's original stories. Not the best way to be 'official' when even the fact-checking isn't there!

There is a Peter Pan adventure that's faithful to Barrie AND based on his idea for more!

In the first panel Young Wendy is looking at the first star to the right,
In the second panel Teen Wendy is glancing at it, remembering Neverland,
And in the third panel Adult Wendy is showing it to her kids like she did for John and Michael when they were little.
